Our Story

Syracuse UniversityThe Ensemble Video platform has grown out of a project at Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management in New York State, to create a flexible, easy-to-use video content management system. Andy Covell, the former executive director of information technology at the Whitman School of Management, formed Symphony Video Inc. and in 2007 secured exclusive worldwide rights to market the underlying patent-pending technology in a commercial software product now called Ensemble Video. Since then, Ensemble Video has been successfully deployed in a variety of organizations and consortia in higher education, K-12, health care, and enterprise markets.
